Armed Flex/Float Security OfficerJob Title: Armed Uniformed Flex/Float Security OfficerPay: $25.00/hour to startLocation: Various Sites in Lowell, MA and surrounding areasAbout the Role:We are seeking reliable and professional Armed Uniformed Flex/Float Security Officers to support our team by filling in for open shifts, call-offs, and coverage needs across multiple sites. This is an as-needed position — hours are not guaranteed but provide valuable flexibility and opportunity for supplemental income.Pay & Incentives:Starting Rate: $25.00/hourPay Increase Schedule (with Good Standing):$26.00/hour after 90 days$27.00/hour after 180 days$28.00/hour after 1 yearPrimary Responsibilities are varied and can include any of the following:Armed security for various locationsCheck IDs, ensure compliance, and maintain orderPatrol inside and outside of the client facility, as neededHigh-level security detailsConflict de-escalationPost/Access Control/Weapon ScreeningWork closely with management and staff to ensure the safety of customers, staff, property, and productMaintain visibility, enforce policies, and respond to incidents and emergencies, as neededWrite detailed reports and communicate effectively with site leadershipRequirements:Current, valid Class-A Massachusetts LTCPrior Law Enforcement or Military preferredMust be at least 21 years of ageValid MA driver’s license and reliable transportationAbility to pass a pre-employment drug test and background checkAbility to travel to multiple sites as neededProfessional demeanor and strong situational judgmentMust be flexible, punctual, and dependableRespond to and fill open or call-off shifts as assignedMust call in availability every Friday for scheduling the following weekSchedule:Flex – Hours vary based on shift availabilityDay, night, weekend, and holiday availability preferredWhy Join Us?This position is ideal for experienced officers looking to supplement their income or gain experience at a variety of sites.
