What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice - Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology position at Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology - UTMB Health Careers?
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The clinical duties of this position will include 2 weekly endoscopy sessions dedicated to advanced endoscopic procedures as well as 7 outpatient endoscopy sessions per week. Additionally, this position will cover the Gastroenterology & Hepatology consult service at Galveston & Clear Lake/League city campuses for approximately 10 weeks per year and provide night call coverage for ~8 weeks annually.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
MD degree or equivalent, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology. Must have completed an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship programs. Advanced Endoscopy Training Preferred.
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.
