Client
An ICG client is seeking a banking strategy consultant working with the principal of a boutique consulting business to develop the strategy for a small Australian regional bank.
Role
- Conduct desktop research using client data, available external data (e.g., ABS, APRA, etc.), and combine to identify patterns and trends to refine hypotheses
- Develop and explore selected scenarios to test strategies, using available data (including financial data) and well-documented assumptions
- Draft components for the strategy based on research findings; this would include well-structured slide decks
Skills and experience required:
- Data modelling and analysis (e.g., statistical trends and patterns), including financial analysis (i.e., understands financial statements)
- Experienced in strategy formulation, including hypotheses development, testing and refinement
- Good structured communications – building and supporting strong argument, particularly slide decks and report writing
- Banking / financial services experience

Start
date: Immediate, with in the next week Duration: 4-6 weeks
Location: Sydney (remote)
Rate: The
daily rate to the consultant will be $1,200 per day
paid plus gst to the right professional.
