Volunteer Position: Imaging Department Assistant

Volunteer Description

The Imaging Department at Logan Regional Hospital is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist staff in providing excellent patient care and support. This role is a great opportunity for students interested in imaging, radiology, or healthcare careers to gain experience in a hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to and from the Imaging Department.
• Assist with patient flow and comfort in waiting areas.
• Provide non-clinical support to imaging staff as needed.
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for patients and visitors.

• Imaging or healthcare students are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional, dependable, and compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies.
  
  

Commitment

• Volunteers are asked to serve one 4-hour shift per week (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM). Current openings are Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday.
• Minimum commitment of 6 months.
