Key Responsibilities
- Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure excellent patient care.
- Patient Flow: Develop and implement strategies to improve patient flow, reduce length of stay, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Quality Improvement: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify areas for quality improvement, develop action plans, and implement changes to drive continuous quality enhancement.
- Education and Development: Provide education and development opportunities to staff, promoting their growth and professional advancement.
- Clinical Expertise: Stay current with clinical best practices, staying up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and evidence-based protocols.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
- Professional Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a senior nurse leadership role, preferably in an Emergency Department setting.
- Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
