What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver (Full-Time) position at Intermountain Farmers Association (IFA)?
INTERMOUNTAIN FARMERS ASSOCIATION, a regional agricultural cooperative, is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Delivery Driver at the IFA Country Store in American Fork, Utah.
SUMMARY: This position has primary responsibilities as a delivery driver. However, when not making deliveries, the individual selected for this position will assist in multiple functions within the store.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure vehicle is safe to operate
- Ensure loads are secured properly and comply with all DOT and highway regulations
- Follow all IFA vehicle safety policies
- Properly load and unload product in compliance with IFA's standard operating procedures
- Providing accuracy and organization through shipping and receiving, stocking shelves, maintain forklift and other building maintenance, janitorial and other duties as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED. Should also have a valid driver's license with 1-3 years of driving experience and a clean driving record. A CDL is not required but is a plus. Must be able to work in a dusty environment under the stress of busy schedules. Skid steer experience is necessary as well as the operation of the truck and trailers.
