The Ocean City School District is accepting applications for the following position:
Short-Term Leave Replacement Middle School Language Arts Teacher
Location: Intermediate School
Effective Dates: April 21, 2026 through last day of pupil attendance in June 2026
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey English certification or Elementary School Teacher w/subject matter specialization: Elementary/Lit 5-8 required
- Knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies and classroom management
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
- Criminal History background approval, HIB training and proof of New Jersey residency required by all successful applicants.
