The Cassville R-IV School District is currently accepting applications for a classroom teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Classroom teachers are responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing engaging instructional experiences that support student growth in accordance with the Missouri Learning Standards. The teacher will foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic achievement, social-emotional development, and lifelong learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver effective lesson plans aligned with Missouri Learning Standards for English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Assess student learning using formative and summative assessments and use data to inform instruction
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment
- Integrate technology and instructional resources to enhance learning
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to support student success
- Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school events
- Support school-wide initiatives and comply with district policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field
- Valid Missouri teaching certification for Elementary Education (Grades 1–6 or appropriate certification)
- Knowledge of Missouri Learning Standards and best instructional practices
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
