Project Mechanical Engineer - Metals - Lancaster, Pa ***Relocation Available to $110,000

• Provide engineering services to safely meet the Lancaster Mill business plan by providing engineering support to production, maintenance and administrative departments to achieve plant goals.
• Coordinate all phases of assigned projects from concept, scope development, written specifications, bid solicitations and related bid meetings, equipment and facilities engineering/design, manufacturing and installation through final start-up, acceptance and project close-out.
• Assist production, technical and maintenance with various types of equipment and process issues from an engineering perspective, particularly in the incumbent's specialized technical field of expertise.
• Participate in the annual development of the plant's three year budget process through scope development, solicitation for quotes and generation of the related project description and budget cost.
• Develop a core cross-functional project team, generate detailed project specifications & Scope of Work in order to solicit all project cost estimates, generate detailed project progress schedule, prepare and submit for approval funding request (RFA).

• BS In Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university
• 5 years of experience in project engineering

• Experience in metals industry
• 10 years of project engineering experience in manufacturing
• 8 years of experience in project management
• Possess a reasonable understanding of environmental control technology and production process with potential to impact the environment.
