Nurse Practitioner - Urogynecology
With the Physician leading all initial consults, major surgical consents, and scoped procedures, the Advanced Practice Provider plays a central role in our high-functioning team ensuring consistent clinical presence in the office during OR days, leading preoperative optimization, and providing shared inpatient rounding and office-based longitudinal medical management.

What You’ll Do
- Medical Management: Primary lead for the longitudinal care of established patients, specifically OAB medication titration, recurrent UTI management, and complex pelvic health follow-ups.
- Pessary Clinic: Lead provider for established pessary management, including routine checks, cleanings, refits, and monitoring vaginal tissue health.
- Surgical Support & Rounding: Occasionally conduct shared inpatient rounding for post-operative patients (typically 23-hour patient stays).
- Preoperative Optimization: Lead comprehensive patient education and preoperative teaching. Obtain informed consent for minor procedures.
- Strategic Office Coverage: Maintain clinical presence and provider access in the office during all Physician OR days to manage urgent triage and established follow-up volume.
What You Bring
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN – Master of Science in Nursing, DNP – Doctor of Nursing Practice, or WHNP- Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner).
- Board Certification.
- Active or pending, unencumbered licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Maine.
- Active or pending DEA Certification in the state of Maine.
- Active BLS certification.
- Maintain continuing education appropriate for scope of practice and licensure.
