- Perform in-office procedures, prescribe medications, and interpret/manage diagnostic results.
- Participate in quality initiatives and team-based improvement efforts.
- Respond to urgent situations and support patient safety.
- Ensure strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and all InterMed policies.
- Carry out additional responsibilities aligned with InterMed’s mission, vision, and values.
- 3 Years of experience post-graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN – Master of Science in Nursing, or DNP – Doctor of Nursing Practice) or Physician Assistant program (MPAS – Master of Physician Assistant Studies, MSPA – Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, MHS – Master of Health Science)
- Active or pending, unencumbered licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Maine
- Board Certification
- Active or pending DEA Certification in the state of Maine
- Active BLS certification
- Maintain continuing education appropriate for scope of practice and licensure
