The Opportunity
As Manager of Advertising and Partnerships, you will serve as the primary point of contact for key clients in home & design and luxury goods – with a focus on securing partners for the Remodelista and Gardenista brands. Ideally the Manager lives in New York City, but we are open to location for the right candidate. You’ll build new relationships and lead client accounts by prospecting, generating ideas, providing exceptional client project management and executional support. In this role, you’ll manage all aspects of the sales journey from start to finish while working collaboratively alongside the Interluxe Group integrated marketing and account management team. This person will spend 90% of their time focused on the Remodelista & Gardenista brands. Other product offerings from Interluxe Group include Four Seasons Magazine, Kingdom Golf, Cool Material, Full-Time Travel and Wallpaper*.
A successful candidate will be a salesperson with an exceptional track record for exceeding sales targets combined with a superior understanding of online strategy, best practices and methodologies. Candidate must be highly organized and able to thrive in a high volume, fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop strategies to maximize growth opportunities for potential brand partners in the luxury space
- Build new relationships with clients and agencies
- Proactively prospect, qualify, grow and close digital business to regularly meet and exceed sales goals
- Incorporate innovative ways to package and sell digital, mobile, social and video assets
- Demonstrate ability to conceptualize and coordinate integrated, cross-platform programs and the ability to work collaboratively across a multi-media company
- Own the digital revenue goal and provide an on-going revenue pipeline and forecasting updates to leadership
- Oversee end-to-end execution of all aspects of the sales process – from deal signing to campaign implementation and complete delivery
- Work with our Integrated Marketing team to develop creative solutions for clients and their agencies, and maximize sales efforts for both pitch and RFP situations
Who You Are:
- Experienced: You have 2-3 relevant years of advertising experience. You have or have the ability to generate contacts at relevant agencies and have a solid track record of translating ideas to business. You have creative, compelling and persuasive presentation skills, and flourish in negotiations.
- Tenacious : You have a strong ability to prospect and develop new business when you relentlessly search for solutions, elements of strategy to tweak, and patterns to improve efficiency across sales teams. You come prepared to talk about significant accomplishments in building ideas that have drawn significant ad revenue.
- A leader: You’re self-motivated and take initiative, but also a strong team player with the ability to clearly provide strategic and creative direction.
