Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow a bankruptcy and financial restructuring practice within the Boston market.
- Advise clients on Chapter 11 reorganisations, Chapter 7 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings.
- Represent secured and unsecured creditors, debtors, trustees, committees and financial institutions in complex insolvency matters.
- Handle bankruptcy litigation, distressed acquisitions and Section 363 sales.
- Counsel clients on workouts, debt restructurings, insolvency risk management and creditor rights.
- Develop and strengthen client relationships while generating new business opportunities.
- Contribute to the continued growth and strategic direction of the firm's national restructuring practice.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Massachusetts Bar, or ability to obtain admission.
- Significant experience handling sophisticated bankruptcy, restructuring and insolvency matters.
- Demonstrated portable book of business.
- Strong experience representing debtors, creditors, lenders, trustees or committees in complex restructurings and bankruptcy litigation.
- Collaborative leadership style with a commitment to mentoring junior attorneys.
