Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow a bankruptcy and financial restructuring practice within the Boston market.
• Advise clients on Chapter 11 reorganisations, Chapter 7 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings.
• Represent secured and unsecured creditors, debtors, trustees, committees and financial institutions in complex insolvency matters.
• Handle bankruptcy litigation, distressed acquisitions and Section 363 sales.
• Counsel clients on workouts, debt restructurings, insolvency risk management and creditor rights.
• Develop and strengthen client relationships while generating new business opportunities.
• Contribute to the continued growth and strategic direction of the firm's national restructuring practice.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar, or ability to obtain admission.
• Significant experience handling sophisticated bankruptcy, restructuring and insolvency matters.
• Demonstrated portable book of business.
• Strong experience representing debtors, creditors, lenders, trustees or committees in complex restructurings and bankruptcy litigation.
• Collaborative leadership style with a commitment to mentoring junior attorneys.
