What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Manager position at InterLink Recovery Services?
Manager - Repossession Operations
We’re looking for a scrappy, hands-on Operations Manager who knows how to make things happen. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, figures things out without being told, and takes ownership of results. You’ll be the connective tissue across our locations—jumping in where needed, solving problems in real time, and keeping operations running smoothly no matter what the day throws at you. If you’re resourceful, decisive, and don’t need a playbook to get started, you’ll fit right in.
Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day execution of operations, ensuring teams are operating efficiently and in line with company expectations.
- Jump in to solve operational issues as they arise—whether that’s supporting the field, troubleshooting breakdowns in process, or putting out fires before they spread.
- Keep a close pulse on attendance trends and staffing gaps, stepping in or escalating as needed to keep operations covered.
- Handle and resolve driver-related incidents, ensuring issues are addressed quickly, documented properly, and fully closed out.
- Act as the go-to for urgent issues outside normal business hours—making judgment calls on what needs immediate action and when to escalate.
- Ensure field execution aligns with company standards and client expectations—no shortcuts, no missed details.
- Get out in front of problems by identifying gaps in performance and working with leadership to fix them.
- Support hiring efforts and jump into special projects with leadership as the business evolves.
- Do whatever it takes (within reason and integrity and our Core Values) to keep operations running at a high level.
- Other duties as assigned.
Operations Manager Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Repossession industry experience highly desired
- 5 years of experience in operations, field management, or a fast-paced business environment with at least 2 years in manager/supervisor position
- Proven ability to operate independently and make sound decisions without constant direction
- Highly resourceful—able to figure things out quickly even with limited information
- Strong problem-solving skills and a bias toward action
- Comfortable in fast-paced, unpredictable environments where priorities can shift quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you can work with anyone and get things done
- Organized and detail-oriented, without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Strong work ethic, high accountability, and a no-excuses mindset
- Team-oriented but fully capable of owning outcomes individually
- High level of integrity and professionalism
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation
- Health insurance with supplemental insurance options
- Paid time off
- Opportunities for career growth and development
