Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Production / Assembly Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electronic systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality electronic products, ensuring they meet rigorous standards and specifications. Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic sub-assemblies and systems, including PCB’s. Install sensors in them and build complete instruments. Soldering experience is a big plus. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately build and wire electrical panels and assemblies.
  • Solder surface-mount components, through-hole parts, and wire connections.
  • Conduct electrical testing using ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to verify circuit integrity and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Build and wire electrical panels, ensuring proper placement of electro-mechanical components such as relays, switches, connectors, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Perform quality inspections on assembled products.
  • Test and verify: Perform calibrations, sometimes using specialized chambers, under various environmental conditions; conduct bump tests, et.al.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot assembly issues, improve manufacturing processes, and implement continuous improvements for efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly with a strong understanding of PCB's and system building.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams; familiarity with electrical wiring standards is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with soldering techniques, hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and machining equipment.
  • Knowledge of electrical panel building including wiring practices for electro-mechanical components such as relays, PLCs, sensors, and switches.
  • Engineering troubleshooting skills.
  • Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience to assemble complex electro-mechanical systems efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity; ability to work with small components in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
