What are the responsibilities and job description for the E-Commerce Customer Service Clerk position at INTERLIGHT?

We are hiring the right candidate to be part of our all-star customer service team. To do well in this role you must have the ability to research our products quickly, remain calm when customers are frustrated and have experience working with computers. We need someone with a very upbeat attitude who loves helping colleagues and customers.

Requirements:

  • Available from 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Schedule will vary between these hours) 40 hours per week.
  • Strong attendance ethics
  • At least 1 years customer service and data entry background.
  • At least 2 year solid work history with one company.
  • Strong Computer Skills (Must be able to learn new software quickly)
  • Associate Degree or equivalent of 5 years work experience preferred.
  • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
  • Experience working with customer support.
  • E-commerce customer service experience is definitely a plus.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Gathering positive reviews
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels.
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
  • Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions.
  • Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.
  • Provide thorough follow-up on open issues and close the loop on all communications.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
  • Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
  • Managing a team of junior customer service representatives.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
