Interior Solutions designs, equips, installs, and supports the environments where people work, learn, store, heal, and operate. We’re looking for a Sales Assistant who is hungry to grow, is great with people, and is excited to build a career supporting military, corporate and government clients in equipment-based solutions.
This entry level role is intentionally designed as a development pathway: start by supporting our sales team, learn the business from the inside out, and advance into a full Salesperson / Account Manager role as you demonstrate readiness.
What You’ll Do (Sales Assistant Phase)
Support Sales Team & Clients
• Assist account managers with quotes, proposals, and bid responses
• Prepare presentations, pricing packets, and equipment specifications
• Manage updates, timelines, and task follow-through
• Research products and equipment solutions for projects
Coordinate Project Details
• Work with design, project management, and installation teams to gather details
• Track orders, revisions, and client requests
• Help maintain CRM accuracy and project records
Learn the Industry
• Grow your understanding of commercial equipment, storage systems, and facility solutions (including military applications)
• Learn how to qualify opportunities, conduct needs analysis, and support client meetings
• Participate in manufacturer trainings and product education
What You’ll Do (Salesperson Phase — Future Path)
Sales Assistants will advance once they’ve demonstrated strong client service, attention to detail, and an understanding of the industry.
• Build and manage your own client portfolio
• Develop new business through networking and outreach
• Conduct client meetings, needs analysis, and solution development
• Present equipment solutions, proposals, and project scopes
• Guide projects from concept through installation with the internal team

Qualifications:What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
• Strong communication and client-service mindset
• Experience or education in interior design, construction, or related field
• Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
• Comfortable learning technical details and product/equipment knowledge
• Curiosity, humility, and willingness to “dig in” and help wherever needed
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to a military bases in New Mexico (required)
Nice-to-Haves
• Experience in sales support, customer service, design, construction, government, or military-related environments
• Familiarity with CRM tools, project coordination, or proposal writing
• Interest in equipment solutions, government projects, or military facilities
