Mammographer- Full Time- Up to $70/ Hour

Interim Healthcare Staffing is currently hiring a full-time Mammographer to their team ASAP!  This is an exciting opportunity at a premier radiology clinic located in Edina, MN!  We are looking for a skilled and empathetic professional who can guide patients through their tests and procedures in a caring environment.

Schedule is Monday - Friday  7:30am-4pm

Pay rate: $60-$70 per hour (DOE)
 

Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Currently ARRT certification including Mammography. 
• Two years of Mammography experience desired, diagnostic mammography preferred.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment with a huge emphasis on quality care.
• Detail oriented 
• Team player

Responsibilities:

• Performs mammography services.
• Verifies the appropriate patient for each examination.
• Verifies appropriate procedure to be performed by checking orders and correlating with the patient’s symptoms and problems.
• Thoroughly explains the nature of the procedure to the patient to alleviate patient anxiety associated with the exam and /or equipment.
• Provides the necessary assistance to the radiologist and/or physician with procedures.
• Assists Radiologist and Ultrasound Technologist with invasive breast procedures.
• The ability to also do general radiology and dexa scan is preferable.
• Maintains a high level of patient confidentiality in adherence with HIPAA guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
