About the Role
This is a part-time, 1:1 home care position serving a client in the Ogden area. You’ll provide personalized, hands-on care in the comfort of the client’s home, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Shifts are approximately 2 hours and are consistent, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for reliable part-time work that fits around their schedule.
What You’ll Do
- Light housekeeping including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and general cleaning
- Organization and decluttering of living spaces
- Laundry and linen changes as needed
- Meal preparation and light kitchen cleanup
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living as needed
- Communicate any changes in the client’s condition or environment to the care team promptly
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required
- Must be able to pass a DACS background check
- Prior experience as a care professional or in a related role preferred
- A calm, patient, and professional demeanor
- Someone who takes initiative — you don’t wait to be told what needs to be done
- Creative problem-solver who can adapt to the unique needs of each client
- Dependable and reliable — our clients count on you showing up
- Strong communication skills and ability to report changes in client condition promptly
Compensation & Benefits
- $20–$25/hour depending on client and assignment
- Mileage reimbursement at the federal rate when a personal vehicle is used during a visit
