We are seeking a highly qualified and dynamic RN / Director of Home Health to lead our home health services with expertise, compassion, and strategic vision. Duties
- Provide strategic leadership for all home health operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
- Supervise nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams, promoting professional development and maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, including those in assisted living or hospice environments.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, Medicare guidelines, and documentation review protocols to maintain accreditation and reimbursement eligibility.
- Manage staffing schedules to optimize resources and quality care.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems effectively for documentation accuracy and efficient medical records management.
- Monitor clinical performance metrics related to MDS assessments, physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and nursing administration practices.
- Facilitate ongoing training on medical terminology, shift management, and care documentation to uphold best practices in nursing management.
- Lead quality assurance initiatives by reviewing medical records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through leadership in nurse management and supervising experience.
Preferred experience
- Proven leadership experience in managing home health agencies or similar healthcare organizations with a focus on nursing administration.
- Extensive background in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or hospice care environments with familiarity in acute care settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing interdisciplinary teams within home care settings while ensuring excellent resident outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations, reimbursement processes, and compliance requirements specific to home health services.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for clinical documentation review and medical records management.
- Experience supervising staff with a focus on nurse management and team development.
- Solid understanding of physiology and anatomy principles relevant to patient assessment and care planning.
- Excellent communication skills combined with leadership qualities necessary for effective supervision and staff mentorship.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
