As an OR Nurse (RN), you will:
- Assess patients prior to surgery and implement appropriate nursing care
- Provide surgical patients with post-operative care and monitor vital signs
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures
- Ensure a sterile and safe surgical environment
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
A few must-haves for OR Nurses:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensed with in the state of Indiana
- 2 years of recent and related experience, as required by facility
- Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
- Must be able to remain calm under pressure
- Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly
- Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by facility
