Our On-Call Hospice RNs enjoy some notable benefits:
- Competitive Pay: Call Rates- Monday-Friday $50 and Saturday and Sunday $100. Routine visit $60, death $80, admission $175, recert $100 and info/visit assessments $75.

As an On-Call Hospice RN, here’s what you’ll do:
- Respond promptly and professionally to after-hours calls and patient visits
- Provide expert pain and symptom management in accordance with individualized care plans
- Support families and caregivers with compassion, education, and reassurance
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards
A few must-haves for On-Call Hospice RNs:
- Current RN license in the state of Louisiana
- Minimum of 1-2 years of hospice experience
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently in a home setting
- Compassionate approach to end-of-life care and support for families
- CPR certification, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations. Clinical proficiency in nursing, strong communication skills and compassion
