Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
- Utilize CCTV surveillance systems to observe and record activities, ensuring continuous monitoring of key zones
- Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified
- Enforce security policies and conflict management protocols to de-escalate tense situations effectively
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or investigations as needed
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records to ensure accurate documentation of all activities
Requirements
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
- Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operation and loss prevention techniques
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively while managing conflicts professionally
- Knowledge of security procedures, conflict management strategies, and emergency response protocols
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and inspections
- Valid security license or ability to obtain required licensing according to local regulations
