InterFuze is seeking a Senior Strategic Buyer supporting the Corporate Operations division. This position offer remote flexibility in Destin / Fort Walton Beach, FL.
Requirements
The selected candidate will perform the following Procurement & Contracting responsibilities:
- Proposal Support: Conducts price/cost analysis for government contracts and proposals.
- Supplier Management: Evaluates supplier capabilities, facilitates communication, and monitors performance.
- Risk Mitigation: Ensures proper risk assessments are conducted for purchase orders.
- Government Regulations: Compliance with export control laws, certifications, and contractual obligations.
- Negotiation & Terms Analysis: Reviews supplier terms and conditions, recommends changes, and mitigates risks.
- Purchase Order Management: Executes and monitors PO processing, modifications, and closeouts.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline, plus a minimum of six (6) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS flow-down requirements.
- Government Compliance: Familiarity with DCMA guidelines regarding equipment purchases.
- Procurement Process Knowledge: Experience with RFQ/RFP processes (Creation, Administration, and Changes).
- Contract Type Awareness: Understanding of Prime Contract Types and their impact on purchase order requirements.
- Commercial Assertions: Ability to assess Commerciality Assertions and document Intellectual Property Rights under Prime Contracts.
- Cost Accounting Knowledge: Basic understanding of cost accounting principles for price/cost analysis and proposal support.
- ERP & Procurement Systems: Proficiency in Costpoint, especially within the purchasing module.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ability to maintain detailed contractual and procurement documentation.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Organizational & Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership & Team Engagement: Works collaboratively with the Contracts Director and program teams.
- Independent Work: Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- This position requires U.S. citizenship.
