Brief Description
This position, located in Fort Belvoir, requires an experienced project/program manager to lead and manage all aspects of the task order, ensuring compliance with all terms, conditions, and performance work statement requirements. This includes developing and implementing program management plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies. Additionally, this candidate will recruit, train, and manage personnel across Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) locations. Manage budgets, ensuring all financial activities are within scope and compliant with contract terms, which includes all invoicing, financial reporting, and cost controls. Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks across all functional areas, including technical, schedule, cost, and operational risks. Ensure strict adherence to all host nation laws, regulations, and security protocols in OCONUS locations. Implement and enforce robust security measures for personnel, data, and equipment. Coordinate with military and diplomatic entities for OCONUS operational support and security. Manage logistics and support for personnel deployed to potentially austere or high-risk environments.
Requirements
Candidate to possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant technical or managerial discipline. Additionally, have Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA Advanced Level in Program Management. Security Clearance Level Secret.
Experience in the areas schedule management, quality management, budget management, risk management, configuration management, and requirements management. Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Strong understanding of the acquisition lifecycle, government contracting regulations (FAR/DFARS), and Army-specific procurement processes, including those governing OCONUS operations, logistics, and international support agreements.
