Required skills:Repair and maintain industrial equipment to include conveying systems, major machine centers such as debarkers, canters, gang saws, and edgers, planers, & other production equipment.Able to read and understand drawings and printed instructionsA self-starter who can work safely under high pressure situationsPossess basic understanding of pumps, sheaves, sprockets, machine centersMust be able to move machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucksAdjust tension on nuts and bolts, or position parts, using hand tools and measuring instruments, to set specified clearances between moving and stationary partsAlign machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobsAssemble and install equipment, using hand tools and power toolsLay out mounting holes, using measuring instruments, and drill holes with power drillReplace defective parts of machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving partsLevel bedplate and establish centerline, using straightedge, levels, and transitDismantle machines, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand toolsAttach moving parts and subassemblies to basic assembly unit, using hand tools and power toolsOther Requirements:Must have High School Diploma or GEDRequires own basic toolsSafety orientatedPrefer minimum two years verifiable work experience as a MillwrightWelding experienceCutting Torch experienceSuccessfully complete pre-employment drug screen
