Interfor is seeking motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our Sawmill Production Team in Fayette, Alabama. The successful candidate will be reliable, committed, and eager to grow into various positions, including general labor, machine operators, and forklift operators. The starting rate for this position is $20.76 per hour with the potential to grow to $29.99 per hour based on skill level and experience.

What You’ll Do

• Complete clean-up and ground maintenance of regularly assigned area.
• Assist with keeping a steady flow of lumber throughout the mill by straightening lumber cross-ups using a pickaxe or chain saw, as necessary.
• Develop skills across various machine centers and take on new responsibilities as you grow within the company.
• Perform any other work-related task deemed necessary by the supervisor.

What You Offer

• High School Diploma/Equivalent Preferred.
  
• Prior manufacturing/warehouse/lumber operations experience preferred.
  
• Able and willing to work in varying seasonal climate conditions.
  
• Team-oriented with a strong commitment to excellence in everything you do.
  
• Demonstrated commitment to safety.
  
• Physical Requirements: Walking, standing, climbing, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
