Highlights of the Role

• Safety Leadership: Champion and enforce safety standards for the maintenance team.
  
• Preventive Maintenance: Lead and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  
• Team Development: Supervise, train, and motivate maintenance personnel.
  
• Operational Excellence: Oversee maintenance planning, inventory, and CMMS utilization.
  
• Continuous Improvement: Drive projects and initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce costs.

What You Offer

• Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Analytical & Results-Oriented: Detail-focused, strategic thinker with proven problem-solving abilities.
  
• Industrial Expertise: 5–7 years of heavy industry experience; wood products and team leadership preferred.
  
• Technical Proficiency: Post-secondary education or trade certification (Millwright/Electrician) is an asset; skilled in CMMS and Microsoft Office.
  
• Project & Safety Focus: Knowledge of preventative maintenance, safety regulations, and project management.
