What You’ll Do
- Optimize: Maintain, monitor, and tune databases to ensure strong performance and minimal downtime
- Secure: Protect data through backups, disaster recovery, access controls, and security best practices
- Migrate: Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations while ensuring system integrity
- Resolve: Troubleshoot issues quickly to restore service and maintain reliability
- Collaborate: Partner with IT teams and provide reporting, insights, and shared expertise
What You Offer
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Experience: 5+ years of hands‑on database administration experience
- Platforms: Experience supporting on‑premises and Azure SQL environments
- Security: Strong knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and data protection practices
- Automation: Ability to script and automate routine database tasks
