Responsibilities

• Escorts patient to exam room
• Performs Triage (Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, Temperature, Weight, and Height) at each visit
• Collect & update patient medical history
• Maintain accurate & confidential patient records
• Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Communicate effectively within the healthcare team
• Wound dressing and care
• Assist with medication assistance program
• Enters & scans all pertinent patient information and notes in EMR software
• Prepares Exam Rooms and Procedure Rooms for patient encounters
• Cleans Exam Rooms and Procedures Rooms post patient encounters
• Performs patient drug screening
• All other duties assigned

Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Quickly and accurately type notes into EMR
• Strong computer and phone skills
• Navigates multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner
• Advanced knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance policies (e.g.; HIPAA)
• EMR experience, preferred
• X-ray certification, preferred
• Reliably commute or planning to relocate prior to starting work (Required)
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Skilled in performing venipuncture (blood draws) - (Required)
• Regular and reliable attendance (Required)
• Reliably commute or planning to relocate prior to starting work (Required)
