Head Teacher needed for NAEYC Accredited, State Funded Preschool.
* BS or Associates in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, Early Childhood Special Education - Transcripts required.
*Patience, Creativity and willing to work as a part of our team a must.
*CPR and First Aid trained or willing to be trained.
*Knowledge in State of Connecticut Regulations and DOTS a plus.

Our state funded center has been in the Danbury community for over 50 years. We serve preschool children ages 3-5. We are licensed by the CT OEC and Accredited by NAEYC.

Responsibilities
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe and engaging learning environment for students.
- Implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Provide individualized support to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
- Monitor and assess student progress to adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational environment.
- Implement behavior management techniques to support student development.
- Utilize early childhood education principles to enhance the learning experience for young students.
