Position Overview
A DIRTT Designer is part artist, part visionary, part engineer and part computer tech wizard, all rolled into one. Your DIRTT Designer will take your clients’ needs and ideas and guide them from concept to factory order, using their strong design background and pushing 21st century tools to the limit in the name of building better client solutions.
Accountabilities
The hiring compensation range for this position is a base salary of $75,000-$90,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and location, as well as internal equity and market considerations.

Position Overview

Accountabilities
- Design Development
- Manage ICE and CAD files
- Manage Finish & Material Selection
- Create Specifications
- Technical & Conceptual Drawings
- Customer Satisfaction
- Assist Project Team with quotes, bids, and RFPs in the architectural solutions space.
- Review drawing issuances and bid documents to understand DIRTT scope that is to be quoted and potential scope alternates where DIRTT adds value.
- Create associated ICE files and renderings.
- Prepare and issue COM and installation quotes.
- Compile pricing in Overall Pricing Spreadsheet
- Create shop and installation drawings
- Prepare files and order documents for order entry
- 3 years of experience in architecture, interior design, or construction industry.
- DIRTT product knowledge is preferred, but not required.
- Thorough understanding of the interior construction process.
- High sense of urgency, and ability to execute tasks efficiently and calmly across multiple projects of various sizes.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills that let them work closely with all project stakeholders as well as DIRTT teammates to manage expectations and ensure the client’s experience is a positive one.
- Strong organizational skills and a concentrated mind to remember the details of each project and scope of work.
- An aptitude with technology and willingness to learn
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD™ and other 3D software, and an enthusiasm for learning and mastering new software programs
- Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop. The employee may occasionally lift and /or move up to 20 pounds. This position may require travel between offices, jobsites, and/or client locations, which may involve extended periods of sitting or standing, lifting light luggage, and adapting to different time zones.
