Job Purpose
Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is a global provider of data, analytics, and technology solutions that power markets and investment decisions. Within the Fixed Income Analytics & Derivatives (FIAD) franchise, we deliver cross-asset analytics and desktop tools that enable clients to assess exposure, performance, and portfolio risk with precision and scale.
We're seeking an accomplished individual contributor to lead new business growth for our desktop analytics platform, a suite of applications relied on by risk managers, portfolio managers, and analytics leads across the buy-side community.
This role combines the autonomy of a senior hunter with the domain expertise needed to engage technically sophisticated clients. You'll position ICE's cross-asset risk and portfolio platform as a decision-support solution that integrates into clients' workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute a territory strategy to expand ICE's desktop analytics footprint among asset managers, hedge funds, and insurers.
- Engage senior stakeholders-risk managers, portfolio managers, and heads of analytics-to understand workflow needs and demonstrate value.
- Lead product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts showcasing cross-asset risk, scenario analysis, and portfolio insights.
- Negotiate commercial agreements covering licenses, analytics applications, and service components.
- Partner with Product, Marketing, and Client Success teams to translate market feedback into roadmap and commercial priorities.
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce; communicate progress clearly to leadership.
- Represent ICE at client meetings and industry events, strengthening our presence within the risk and portfolio analytics community.
Knowledge and Experience
- 5 years of enterprise software or data-platform sales experience within financial markets (analytics, risk, or portfolio solutions preferred).
- Proven track record of exceeding quota through new-logo acquisition and account expansion.
- Deep understanding of risk and portfolio management workflows, including exposure analysis, stress testing, and attribution.
- Familiarity with competing/complementary systems such as Bloomberg MARS/PORT, Murex, Calypso, or Numerix.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to translate technical capability into commercial value.
- Highly self-motivated and consultative, with an analytical mindset and collaborative approach.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced or quantitative degree preferred.
Base Salary Range for New York
The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $100,000 - 165,000. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's rewarding and uncapped sales commission incentives. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
