Analyst, Business Analytics

Job Purpose

The Business Analyst in Sales Operations plays a critical role in supporting the sales organization by providing actionable insights, optimizing processes, and ensuring data integrity. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate inquiries, identify root causes, and drive issues to resolution. Proficiency in SQL for data querying along, with experience in the mortgage industry is also essential.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Reporting:
• • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics to track sales performance and operational efficiency.
  • Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Sales Process Optimization:
• • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and ensure alignment with internal sales policies.
• System Management & Support:
• • Administer Anaplan models, manage data pipelines via Alteryx and Snowflake, and support Salesforce CRM and Tableau reporting for the Sales organization.
  • Provide technical support and training to sales teams on Salesforce CRM and Tableau reports.
• Forecasting & Planning:
• • Assist in sales forecasting, pipeline analysis, and territory planning.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data for executive decision-making.

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3 years in sales operations, business analysis, or related role.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and reporting
• Experience with Snowflake or comparable data warehouse platforms
• Proficiency in Alteryx or similar ETL/data prep tools
• Tableau for dashboard development and reporting
• Anaplan or other EPM/CPM platform
• Salesforce CRM experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Discretion with confidential information.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

• Experience working within the mortgage industry or with ICE Mortgage Technology platforms.
