What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Tech position at InterCon Construction, Inc.?
The Survey Technician position is responsible for assisting surveyor and/or designers to help identify property lines, right-of-way lines, easement boundaries, etc. for the design and/or construction of utilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collecting boundary field evidence of monuments, topography, easements, and utility locates.
- Using GPS equipment to take accurate and detailed field notes.
- Utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D, for drafting, data processing, and importing.
- Ability to work in field or office settings in variable amounts of time depending on project requirements.
- Coordinate with InterCon Designers on survey needs and schedules.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Minimum of two years of experience or two years related schooling is required.
- Current CST (Certified Survey Technician) certification(s) a plus, or a willingness to pursue after employment.
- Must have working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Ability to manage numerous tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work with other employees.
- Ability to self-motivate when tasked with solo work opportunities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
- Position will work on projects primarily in Wisconsin.
