We are currently seeking a Senior Family Services Specialist to assist the TFC Family Services Supervisor and/or Senior manager of Family Services with establishing, implementing, and evaluating compliance by providing individualized, site specific and program wide training, support, and guidance to Family Services Specialists. Senior Family Services Specialist monitors assigned foster homes, provides regular evaluations and trainings to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory standards as well as all policies and procedures.
This position is responsible for assisting with training and evaluation of Teaching Parents in the TFC program. As well as, assisting in training new Family Services Specialists. They will work with their leaders to provide ongoing support to foster care staff in reaching a high level of compliance with written policies and procedures, including maintaining foster parent records.
Education and Experience Required:
- A doctorate or master's degree in social work from a college or university accredited by the Council on Social Work Education or a field related to social work such as sociology, psychology, special education, or counseling, with a student placement in casework services to children and families or one year of experience in providing casework services to children and families OR
- A BA Degree in social work or a field related to social work including, but not limited to, sociology, psychology, special education, or counseling and one year of experience in providing casework services to children and families OR
- A BA Degree in any field plus two years' experience in providing casework services to children and families.
Experience in the field of foster care of experience in working with behavioral programs, counseling, and/or skills training is preferred. A minimum of one year of program administration is highly desirable.
