A respected hospital in Wakefield, Rhode Island is expanding its primary care network with the opening of a new outpatient clinic. We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join an established team of 15 physicians serving the community across four outpatient clinic locations.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care for patients ages 12 years and older
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses
- Perform preventive care and annual wellness visits
- Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate medical documentation
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care
Schedule & Call
- Outpatient practice
- Average 20–25 patients per day
- Shared call schedule: 1:8
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience preferred
- Eligible for Rhode Island medical licensure
