JOB TITLE: Mid-Level IT Quality Analyst
REPORTS TO: IT Applictions Director

LOCATION: ONSITE
Job Summary
The IT Quality Analyst is responsible for planning, designing, and executing software testing activities to ensure high-quality IT systems and applications. This role works closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to validate functional and non-functional requirements and identify defects early in the development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and backend applications
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects using defect tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, SDLC, and QA best practices
- Support test data preparation and environment coordination
- Provide test execution reports and quality metrics to project teams
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Hands-on experience with test case design and execution
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla)
- Basic knowledge of test automation tools or frameworks
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, HIPAA files.
- Familiarity with Snowflake or other modern cloud data warehouses.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST clients)
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Exposure to programming languages (e.g., Python, R, or Java) for data analysis.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
