Description
We are seeking a qualified individual to join the HQINNG J4 team in support of the Indiana National Guard’s logistical operations. While the current J4 staffing structure effectively manages day-to-day logistics, there is an identified need for additional personnel to enhance our training capabilities. This role will focus on developing, coordinating, and executing regional logistics training programs specifically designed for full-time logistics staff. The ideal candidate will play a key role in strengthening operational readiness through targeted training initiatives.
- Provide direct support to the INARNG J4 in the planning, coordination, and execution of regional logistics training events and associated preparation activities. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong background in military logistics, training development, and event management.
- Training Support: Assist in the development and refinement of logistics training scenarios, lesson plans, and practical exercises aligned with current Department of Defense, National Guard Bureau and INARNG doctrine and operational requirements.
- Logistics Planning: Support the planning and coordination of logistical requirements for regional training events, including transportation, supply, maintenance, and personnel support.
- Training Material Preparation: Prepare and maintain training materials, including presentations, handouts, and visual aids. Ensure materials are accurate, current, and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Equipment Management: Assist in the inventory, inspection, and maintenance of training equipment. Coordinate with relevant units to ensure equipment availability and functionality.
- Event Coordination: Coordinate with internal staff, external partners (e.g., other state National Guards, civilian agencies), and training locations to ensure seamless event execution.
- Provide the INARNG J4 with after action reviews and analysis for all training events conducted and maintain records of training activities.
- After Action Reporting: Assist in the collection and analysis of data from training events to identify areas for improvement and contribute to after-action reports.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training activities, logistical support, and equipment status.
- Compliance: Ensure all training and logistical activities comply with applicable safety regulations, environmental standards, and National Guard policies.
Qualifications
- Experience creating and conducting virtual classroom and hands-on training of Logistics processes, procedures, and functions, preferably with Indiana National Guard.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Must have a current Indiana Driver's License and maintain the Drivers License throughout employment.
