Senior Process Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer with extensive experience in injection molding and blow molding to support a high-speed plastics manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for optimizing processes, improving efficiency, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting new product launches while ensuring the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Optimize molding processes to improve productivity, reduce scrap, and increase efficiency.
- Troubleshoot processing issues and implement corrective actions using root cause analysis.
- Support new product introductions and process validation.
- Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Operations to maximize equipment performance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Develop process documentation and train production personnel on best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
- 10 years of plastics processing experience.
- Strong experience with injection molding, blow molding, and PET, PP, and HDPE processing.
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience.
- RJG Master Molder certification preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment with regular time on the production floor and occasional travel as needed.
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
