Finance Manager
Hollywood, FL | Full-Time | Onsite
We are seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to oversee and manage the daily accounting operations of a well-established, privately owned distribution company based in Hollywood, FL.
This role is responsible for leading internal accounting functions, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The company works closely with an outside CPA firm for tax and strategic accounting matters; this position focuses on internal execution, oversight, and operational financial management.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Manage cash flow and vendor payment schedules
- Monitor aging reports and collections
- Lead month-end close process
- Perform and review bank and credit card reconciliations
- Oversee inventory accounting and cost tracking
- Manage customs and duties-related accounting entries
- Supervise accounting staff and review invoice processing
- Interface with outside CPA firm
- Prepare financial reporting for ownership
- Review payroll prior to processing
- Assist with forecasting and cash planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in distribution, wholesale, logistics, or product-based businesses strongly preferred
- Inventory accounting experience required
- Experience handling customs/duties accounting preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting system
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and vendor management skills
