PROJECT MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR

POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator role is a multi-faceted position supporting the Product Development Project Managers and Customer Relations Project Managers. This role is responsible for organizing and monitoring daily tasks and communication related to projects, as well as creating required reports and updates. The incumbent will be responsible for Intra-departmental project liaison including organizing and communicating the details of projects and specific assignments to team members. The project coordinator directly supports project execution. The candidate must have experience managing remediation work plans for Quality Systems and/or Japan markets filings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain all Whippany Site Project Management and Customer Excellence reporting templates.
- Organizing project logistics and meetings, ensuring project readiness.
- Coordinate Project requirements including – project change of scopes, customer shipping requests, sample shipments and change of scopes.
- Liaison on Interdepartmental project activities – including Scheduling, Manufacturing, QC, Technical Services, CQV, AD, Warehouse, among other functional areas.
- Support SAP activities for BOM’s, recipes, material/master data item number creation and process orders.
- Meet with customers and be assigned projects as part of the PD Project Coordinator function.
- Other duties, as assigned by Department Head.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Project Management Education, PMP preferred –
- Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
- Primary point of contact for team members and identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
- Strong customer service focus, teamwork and organizational skills.
- Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; reacts well under pressure; accepts responsibility for own actions and follows through on commitments.
- Must have soft skills such as: Interpersonal Skills, Teamwork, Conflict Resolution, Problem Solving, etc.
EDUCATION:
- BA/BS in a related field (science preferred)
- SAP, Track wise, Microsoft Project experience is a plus.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1-3 years of Pharmaceutical Experience in a Supply Chain, Project Management or Customer Relationship Role.
- Commercial / Business Development Experience is a plus.
