Machinist / Laser Operator

Machinist / Laser Operator Needed for 1st & 2nd Shift! Immediately Openings!
We are seeking a few skilled CNC Machinist / Laser Operators to join our clients dynamic manufacturing team. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the capability to work with various materials.

Hours for the Machinist / Laser Operator are:
Day Shift Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm
Afternoon/Night Shift Hours: Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm to 2:00am

Starting Rate of pay for the Machinist / Laser Operator is $19.00 to $21.00 per hour with possibilities of pay increase based upon experience.

Roles and Responsibilities for the Machinist / Laser Operator Include:

• Ability to do basic mill set ups a plus
• Understand various CNC Mill controls
• Capable of interpreting blueprints
• Capable of reading and using measuring instruments
• Make offsets and change inserts during operation
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results
• Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality
• Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs
• Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part
• Ensure that results of machining process align with client expectations
• Conduct regular CNC machine assessments

Education, Experience and Requirements for the Machinist / Laser Operator

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
• 1 years' experience as a Machinist / Laser Operator preferred
• Ability to efficiently read calipers
• Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude
• Strong comprehension and analytical abilities
• Good computer and mathematical skills.
