About This Position
We are seeking experienced IT Project Managers / Business Analyst to support our ongoing digital transformation and project delivery initiatives in our Front office. This role is pivotal to ensuring the successful planning, execution, and integration of technology solutions within our organization.
The consultant will oversee the complete project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget. They will work closely with stakeholders to align project objectives, mitigate risks, and ensure seamless communication across teams. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing business processes, eliciting business and technical requirements, contributing to the design of technology solutions, and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives that support the organization’s strategic goals.
We are currently looking for an experienced IT Project Managers / Business Analysts to assist with this transition, drive the implementation of capital projects for IT Growth, and provide ongoing business support for IT Operations.
Consultancy Objective
The proposed consultancy aims to support the implementation of Front Office operations on the Salesforce Platform, along with additional technologies that enhance IDB Invest’s operational processes. The consultant will assist the project team by analyzing and reviewing business processes, as well as handling various project management tasks related to the initiative.

What you’ll do
- Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between IT and business units to document and translate business requirements, establishing partnerships with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Identify and manage relationships with all stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
- Documentation: Create documentation of system requirements, project plans, and reports to deliver effective technological solutions and ensure transparent communication.
- Scope Management: Define and control the scope of the project to prevent scope creep and ensure project objectives are met.
- Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks that could impact project delivery.
- Technical Assistance: Assist technical teams in identifying and solving system and data issues to ensure data quality.
- Quality Assurance: Create QA plans to review and ensure correct implementation of functionality, and help QA team with functional requirements validation to meet quality standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project performance against key metrics and milestones to ensure timely delivery and success.
- Education: A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, engineering, or business, with a minimum of 5 years of meaningful experience in IT Project Management and Business Analyst functions.
- Experience:
- IT Project Management: Over 5 years of experience using tools like Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and Jira in large-scale or complex projects. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Front Office Operations: Proven track record as a Business Analyst or Project Manager implementing systems to support Front Office operations and managing the entire project lifecycle using Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Enterprise Systems Integration: Extensive experience with integrating enterprise systems. Salesforce certifications and Certified ScrumMaster are a plus.
- Languages: Fluent in English. Spanish/Portuguese is a plus.
- Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
- Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
