Responsible for supporting compliance initiatives within a North America–focused legal and risk environment, with an emphasis on training, regulatory alignment, and program development. This role operates within a centralized compliance function and focuses on building scalable programs that support onboarding, ongoing education, and regulatory awareness across the business.

The position requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can manage ambiguity, engage with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive incremental progress across multiple workstreams. Success in this role depends on strong written communication, curiosity, and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical, business-facing solutions.

Experience Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in compliance, program management, legal operations, or a related field
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments with risk, legal, or operations teams
  • Bachelor’s degree may be required (or equivalent experience)

Team & Function Overview

  • Part of a centralized compliance function within a North America legal and risk organization (U.S. and Canada)
  • Supports strategy, planning, and operational excellence initiatives
  • Focus on regulatory programs, training, and compliance education
  • Collaborative team environment working closely with legal, risk, and technical teams
  • Role open due to temporary leave coverage

Core Responsibilities

  • Support regulatory compliance initiatives and program execution
  • Own and evolve training and onboarding programs across the organization
  • Develop and maintain ongoing education initiatives, identifying new tools, teams, and opportunities for enablement
  • Contribute to the redesign and standardization of training materials and delivery methods
  • Build and manage content platforms (e.g., SharePoint) for training and compliance resources
  • Assist in developing audit programs and compliance tracking mechanisms
  • Monitor and interpret new regulations and policies, translating them into actionable guidance
  • Disseminate compliance updates across business stakeholders
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for compliance programs
  • Provide ad hoc compliance support, including:
    • Process creation and simplification
    • Operational support for business teams
  • Draft standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation
  • Partner with risk and legal teams to identify pain points and drive process improvements
  • Support content overhaul initiatives aligned with compliance standards and guidance
Work Environment

  • Monday–Friday, standard business hours (9am–5pm, flexible)
  • No overtime, weekend, or holiday requirements
  • Meeting-heavy at times, with frequent collaboration across teams
  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented environment
  • Dynamic role with no fixed daily workflow

  • Strong written communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and work across evolving priorities
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (legal, risk, operations, or tech)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to drive incremental progress

  • Experience building or managing internal content platforms (e.g., knowledge bases, SharePoint)
