We are seeking a Jr. Business Analyst to support a large-scale Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) transformation initiative. This role will work closely with business and project stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, support process improvement efforts, and contribute to the successful delivery of key project objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Create and maintain user stories, business requirements documents, and process documentation
- Develop process flows and support process improvement initiatives
- Attend stakeholder meetings, facilitate discussions, and capture detailed meeting notes
- Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to management and project teams
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test planning and defect tracking
- Assist with reporting and dashboard development as needed
- Collaborate with business, technology, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle
- 3–5 years of Business Analyst experience
- Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements
- Strong process improvement and process mapping skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong stakeholder management, listening, and organizational skills
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or SDLC environments
- Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Jira
- Visio
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Operations, or a related field
- Experience with reporting and dashboard tools (Power BI preferred)
- Mortgage industry experience
- Government agency experience
- Knowledge of Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS)
- Familiarity with SQL for partnering with data and reporting teams (hands-on development not required)
