Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory and financial reports for a broker-dealer
- Support end-to-end reporting processes, including data retrieval, aggregation, and calculations
- Analyze data to identify exceptions, discrepancies, and trends
- Perform account reconciliations and control checks to ensure data completeness and accuracy
- Work with large datasets in Excel using advanced functions such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
- Provide ad hoc analysis and support special projects as assigned
- Create, enhance, and maintain written desktop procedures and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to support reporting and compliance initiatives
Required
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Accounting or Finance)
- Relevant experience in accounting or finance
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and similar functions)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Experience supporting regulatory or financial reporting in a financial services or broker-dealer environment
- Familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, and PowerPoint
- Ability and willingness to learn and apply new data analysis and reporting tools
- Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis)
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, and PowerPoint (preferred)
