TITLE: Packer A
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Safely and efficiently package finished products according to production and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized work area and supporting the overall productivity of the production team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma/GED is preferred
- Must demonstrate good oral and written communication skills
- Six (6) months or more of experience in related position required
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must follow all plant policies, procedures, and safety rules & regulations, whether written or communicated verbally
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area in accordance with plant housekeeping standards
- Perform required inspections and monitor product quality to ensure customer specifications are met
- Properly package and prepare finished goods for shipment to customers
- Accurately complete required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner
- Attend and actively participate in required safety training and other training programs
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by designated personnel
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
- Inside environmental conditions, protected from weather conditions, not necessarily temperature conditions
- Subject to elevated noise, causing reason to shout in order to be hard above the noise level.
- Subject to vibration, exposure fluctuating movements of the body.
