TITLE: Accounting Clerk
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Experienced Accounting Clerk to perform the general duties of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Good communication skills both inter-office and customer base.
- Computer experience working with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
- Experience preferred in AS400.
- Ability to work both independently and on a team.
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accounts Receivables:

- Investigate and identify deductions taken by customers.
- Maintain a good working relationship with the customer to ensure resolution in requesting credits and resolving any problems.
- Generate, document, and produce credit memos.
- Process checks for bank deposits and applies cash daily.
- Accounts Payable:
- Match vendor invoice to purchase order and receiving receipt.
- Process vendor invoices for payment
- Prepare and run checks weekly.
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
- Office environment Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm.
TRAINING:
- Must complete all ongoing training as required.
