TITLE: General Worker C

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Efficiently wrap and label pallets from inventory for shipment. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that the correct products are picked, packed, and prepared for distribution, thereby supporting the smooth operation of the warehouse and meeting customer demands.

• Hiring for 7:30am-4pm shift
• Starting at $15.00 per hr. – earn $1.00 more per hour with weekly perfect attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Legal eligibility to work in the US.
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred with knowledge of production processes, quality control, and use of Warehouse Location Management Systems.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude for machines used in the production process.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify which pallets need side boards and apply as needed.
• Make sure corner boards and stretch wrap are available in the work area.
• Operate wrapper machine with the ability to manage speed of operation.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area in docks and warehouse surroundings.
• Help with labeling pallets neatly when not wrapping.
• Make sure all pallet case counts are correct by referencing the LPN on pallets.

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• The warehouse is not climate controlled. Must be able to work in an environment that is extremely hot, humid in the summer months, and cold in the winter months.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Ability to quickly move your hands (frequently).
• Ability to exert muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects. (Lifting requirements up to and including 30 lbs.) (frequently)
• Ability to bend, stretch, or reach with your body, arms, and legs.
• Ability to maintain work pace to ensure efficient and timely preparation of pallets for shipment.
• Position requires maintaining a steady work of standing, stooping, bending, reaching overhead, and grasping with both hands.
• Must be able to see, hear, and speak clearly.
